Goethe Institute Holds hoto exhibition “Deutscher Fotobuchpreis”

Goethe Institute holds a photo exhibition “Deutscher Fotobuchpreis” which is the winner and nominated for Best Photography Book Award Germany 2010 on 12 February to 4 March 2011.

“As a continuation of a series of exhibition” Deutscher Fotobuchpreis “in Indonesia, which has lasted since 2008, the Goethe-Institute will hold back a similar exhibition” Deutscher Fotobuchpreis “at the Goethe Institute,” said Assistant Culture program of Goethe-Institut Latuconsina.

She added that the exhibition in Bandung on February 23 to March 4 after finishing the exhibition in Jakarta.  Since more than 30 years this award has been given annually by the Association of Retail, German Book Distributors and Publishers, the Office of the State of Baden-Wurttemberg. Originally this award named “Kodak-Photobuchpreis” which since 2005 called “Deutscher Fotobuchpreis”.

Title winner “Deutscher Fotobuchpreis – Siegertitel” (German Photography Book Award 2010 – Best Book of Disabled degree) is a very prestigious title in world of photography. This award-winning book is a selection of books that have a high photographic quality, packed with attention to aesthetics as well as displaying the achievement of the techniques of photography.

Type of award given category is the title of “Gold” and “Silver”. The juries are the experts consisting of a collection of photographers, journalists for a particular field, curator, layouter, distributor book sales.
